great video however it doesnt explain a basic item- does this work only in a live chat or zoom- can you record the entire presentation with the video already inserted?

I would much rather that people said "um" and "ah" then say "like", "literally" or use that insufferable rising inflection in each sentence.

Speaking well is a talent. Poor speaking is a disability…it cripples the “hearer” not the speaker. Focus on the message more and your delivery less and filler words and other distractions will magically fade away. 💔✝️❤️

I don't think this can work with the "new" Teams ... but I hope they figure out support for that now, since Microosft is pushing (hard) on getting people to move from regular teams to New Teams.

Circle cam works for me, when I add the border though my scene import is the shape of the ppt slide i used to create the image!! Any tips on making it transparent would be great.

Thank you, close to after 2 years you posted this, this video really came in handy! I wasn't too sure of where you grabbed the circular image but I figured you created using canva or such and did the same and made an image mask and voila! Thank you again! BTW, I use a HDMI splitter and feed two images using 2 HDMI to USB devices and make a separate source input using 1 videocam.

I'm really struggling trying to make that nice border with the lines.

Not sure if it's the newer version of OBS that added this issue, but when I am using virtual came to Zoom, switching between scenes in the scene window changes in OBS, but not in the zoom feed. To get it to change I have to go into the virtual camera set up and change the scene there. It works, but of course, it is an extra step and doesn't have a smooth transition. Any ideas? Also when I crop my main cam for a screen share, the crop exists when I kick back out to the full view scene as well.

I was a bit nervous of this but my MacBook really struggles after a few hours with ppt and zoom

I find ppt on Mac doesn’t let you resize your windows so I’m constantly switching between ppt and zoom to bring it to the foreground. Any else find the same?

If you are co presenting, can you add graphic for the other person as well?

Thank you so much! Still works today on the latest version of OBS. Excellent tutorial and let me be creative with my "circle". The only thing I think you should have added was the border image needs to be a PNG with a blank background. Outside of that it worked!

this is a fantastic demonstration of what Loopback does. Thanks for sharing it. Also... your clock isn't working. (I'm assuming you took the battery out so as not to distract). I wish I had seen this 2 years ago when you posted it. It's taken me about to 2 years to perfect a Zoom/Loopback/Sounddesk/Korg Nano Kontroller workflow. Everything leans VERY heavily on Loopback's power.

Can you explain exactly how to get script over the monitor. IE You can make the text transparent so you can see the screen behind BUT how did you display your camera output on the monitor at the same time? Thanks
